This is the second of Fay Duffner's 2-part travelogue on the countries of Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. Fay invites you to explore some of the most breathtaking wildlife and wonders of Southern Africa. We will traverse stunning landscapes, savor local spirits, and appreciate unique fauna and flora. We will encounter some of the most iconic sights, and discuss some of the most controversial insights, that this region has to offer.
We’ll explore Cape Town, see where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic Ocean at the Cape of Good Hope, and savor the spirits of South Africa's renowned Cape Winelands. We’ll embark on a journey across Namibia's striking Namib desert, Skeleton Coast, and Etosha National Park, discovering the thrill of overland travel through one of Africa's most dramatic landscapes. We’ll encounter distinctive geology, modern neighborhoods, traditional tribes, obscure history, and of course, elephant parades, zebra dazzles, and the mighty oryx. We'll discover why Southern Africa is a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.
