A fun and interactive group that shares in learning about and celebrating each other’s cultures through interesting conversation and entertaining activities. Our group meets monthly in members’ homes and welcomes members from all around the world to come together, learn about each other, and develop friendships!

Members meet six to eight times a year at various central Indiana locations for special tours, museums, and other experiences. Events can last one to two hours or as long as half a day.

• Exploring Religion and Mysticism

Our members learn about different religious and mystical traditions through speakers and sometimes book discussions and visits to various religious sites. We ask questions, discuss similarities and differences, and see how they may compare to our own beliefs and ideas. We also seek to address current situations through a spiritual perspective. Members are always welcome to suggest speakers or topics of interest, including book titles, places to visit, and/or special events taking place locally.

• Great Books Discussion
  

Members meet at each other’s homes or by Zoom to share good books and learn about other cultures while making new friends. Various literary genres and themes are explored, and books by international authors are often read.

• Travel Forum Group

The Travel Forum Group provides an interactive platform for members to share and discuss their travel stories, adventures and vacations, and relive their beautiful memories. Participants learn about exciting destinations of interest around the world, including the US. The speaker(s) prepare a talk on a particular destination and after the presentation, the participants exchange first-hand knowledge, travel tips, experiences and suggestions to help others plan a trip to that destination. The group meets over Zoom every other month as Zoom provides an easy means to prepare and share the presentation with a large audience.
